Nature of interview questions

Interview questions are always unpredictable in nature. You can never know what type of questions an interviewer can ask. In most of the cases, there are three types of interview questions. They are based on random, problem solving and behavior patterns.

Random questions are related to the job profile, company and objective. Problem solving questions involve a written test; it’s an ability to solve difficult problems. Behavioral questions are based on personal approach; it’s based on personal background.

Let’s talk about other common types of interview questions. Many companies ask you to describe yourself at first place. Another question would be; why do you want to join our company? Another common question is, in a particular situation, how would you react?

Many a time’s company also asks hypothetical questions. It would be: If you made a wrong decision, how would you rectify the same? An interviewer may even ask questions on presence of mind. In this case a question may sound tricky, but its answer would be simple. Avoid giving your too personal details in case of interview.
