Random questions are related to the job profile, company and objective. Problem solving questions involve a written test; it’s an ability to solve difficult problems. Behavioral questions are based on personal approach; it’s based on personal background.

Let’s talk about other common types of interview questions. Many companies ask you to describe yourself at first place. Another question would be; why do you want to join our company? Another common question is, in a particular situation, how would you react?

Many a time’s company also asks hypothetical questions. It would be: If you made a wrong decision, how would you rectify the same? An interviewer may even ask questions on presence of mind. In this case a question may sound tricky, but its answer would be simple. Avoid giving your too personal details in case of interview.
